Expect the normal public course gripes, pace of play can be hit or miss, people looking for ages to find their lost ball, unfixed pitch marks on greens, unfixed divots, and the occasional offline missile from another hole. A low score here comes down to club selection and pure rolls on the green. You wont get into much trouble if you don’t find the fairway so it’s really good for a tune up round. One of the many amenities offered at The Highlands is our practice facility. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and is the perfect place to experience true northwest golf with friends and neighbors.
Course layout is long and straight with some hills and elevated greens. The pristine 18-hole course is nestled within the beautiful homes of the Highland Park Estates and offers a challenge to golfers of all skills. If you conduct yourself in a dignified manner and talk a little golf with him, he will do you the courtesy in return, he helped me get a refund when I couldn’t finish my 18 from fatigue. The man loves his job though and takes it very seriously, which I respect. He is a nice guy but is a product of poor scheduling and management. I ALWAYS expect a bit of drama from the ranger before tee off in terms of what course I am playing and whether I’m walking or in a cart. I can almost promise the most frustrating part of your round will be from the parking lot to the first tee. Overall well kept but very subject to local weather definitely a better option than a lot of the lower tier public courses around. The dining area has views of the 18th hole and surrounding lake, which always makes a great setting for hosting golf tournaments, outings and events.I usually play here when I have some unexpected time to play and can’t get a tee time anywhere else.

The 15,000 square foot clubhouse has men’s and ladies locker rooms and a restaurant with full bar. The practice facility at Highland Creek includes a driving range, 12,000 square foot putting green, chipping green, and practice bunker. Any shot left or miss-hit can find the creek which lines the entire fairway to the green. The par 4, 9th hole calls for a very precise tee shot to a narrow fairway. The course features Bentgrass greens, Bermuda fairways, four sets of tees from 5,080 to over 7,000 yards, over 65 bunkers and water features on 11 different holes.
